Igor Fernandes

Two trophies arrived in Igor Fernandes 's first full year as a professional footballer. The left-back, raised in the Corinthians academy at Parque São Jorge, broke into the first team in 2013 and played 21 matches across all competitions — 13 in Série A, five in the Campeonato Paulista, three in the Copa do Brasil. Corinthians won the São Paulo state title that year and the Recopa Sudamericana.

He had spent 2011 and 2012 with Flamengo-SP before that breakthrough. What followed the breakthrough, though, was a run of loans. At Sport Recife in 2014 he won the Copa do Nordeste and the Pernambuco state championship. The next year, at Linense and then Tigres do Brasil , he did not play a single first-team match.

Grêmio Novorizontino and Red Bull Brasil filled 2017; ABC followed in 2018, where he won the Campeonato Potiguar and scored his first goal for the club in Série C. That summer he joined Avaí , and in 2019 added the Campeonato Catarinense.

The years after were brief. Seven Série B appearances for CSA across 2020 and 2021. Then Ferroviária , then Remo , where he won the Copa Verde in 2021.

He has never been capped by the senior Brazil side.
