About the player
In July 2025, GD Chaves announced the signing of Isaque and his brother João Vítor — the sons of Rivaldo. Their father turned up as a supporter and left the club a set of autographs.
Isaque was born in Athens on 13 September 2006 and holds Spanish citizenship alongside his Brazilian passport. He is the son of Rivaldo and the half-brother of the professional player Rivaldinho.
His first move abroad as a senior came from Retro FC. On 4 February 2025 he joined the Romanian club FCV Farul Constanța as a free agent. He never established himself there: one appearance for the first team, on as a substitute in the 92nd minute against AS FC Buzău on 3 May 2025.
At Chaves he was assigned to the B team from July 2025. Detailed records of that spell are thin.
On 12 March 2026 he returned to Brazil, signing for Náutico Recife and taking the number 99. Most of his football since has come with the under-20 side: four matches, 198 minutes across the U20 Copa do Brasil and the U20 Copa Nordeste, without a goal. He has been named in first-team squads during the 2026 Série B season, but as of 9 August 2026 he had not come off the bench against Atlético-GO, Juventude, Goiás or Criciúma.
