About the player
Ismail Ka started out at SJC before moving on to Alphense Boys, where he played until 2021. That summer, at fifteen, he joined Feyenoord's academy, and in May 2024 he signed his first professional contract with the Rotterdam club, running for three years. Within Feyenoord's youth setup he featured for the U19 side in the UEFA Youth League across two seasons, and was called into the Netherlands U18 and U19 squads for a handful of friendlies. He never made a first-team appearance for Feyenoord itself.
On 29 July 2026, Ka moved to Jong AZ on a permanent deal running until 2029. His start there has been a slow one: he has made a single appearance in the Eerste Divisie so far, away to FC Emmen, a match Jong AZ lost 3-1 despite four saves from the goalkeeper. Outside of that outing, he has remained on the bench.
