About the player
Ítalo Carvalho came through the academy at Villa Nova, making his first-team debut there in 2016, then spent the following years cycling through Batatais, Tupi, Atlético Tubarão and XV de Piracicaba. A move to Ponte Preta and a spell at Cypriot side APOEL both passed without a competitive appearance, and it was only on loan at Doxa Katokopias that he scored in both the league and the Cyprus Cup.
On loan at Amazonas in 2022 he scored 11 times in just six matches in Série D.
Before the transfer was even made official, Ítalo had already finished the 2025 season as the state of Pará's top scorer while on loan at the club. Ítalo Carvalho also featured in the club's Copa do Brasil campaign, which ended in the fifth phase against Vasco da Gama after a first-leg defeat and a home draw.
