About the player
Eastwood came through the Sheffield United academy, joining the club at the age of ten and signing his first professional contract in April 2016. First-team opportunities at Bramall Lane were scarce — three senior appearances in seven years, two of them in the EFL Cup and one in the Championship — and the bulk of his development happened away from the club, across a string of loan spells that took in Chesterfield, Scunthorpe United, Kilmarnock, Grimsby Town, Portsmouth, Rochdale and Ross County. He was part of the Sheffield United squad that finished as Championship runners-up in the 2018/19 season and went up to the Premier League, though his limited game time meant he did not qualify for a medal.
A permanent move finally came in July 2023, when he joined Grimsby Town, where he went on to make 29 appearances. In July 2025 he signed for Cambridge United on a free transfer, and by November of that year he had made 16 league appearances for the club.
Eastwood has no senior international caps to his name.
