About the player
At the 2015 Under-17 World Cup he scored against Russia, part of an Ecuador side that also picked up the tournament's Fair Play award. The senior national team has never called him up.
He joined 9 de Octubre on loan in January 2020, the season the club won Serie B and went up to the top flight.
He stayed longer at Mushuc Runa, from 2021 to 2023.
Nazareno joined Manta as a free agent in February 2026, on a contract running to the end of that year. He has yet to win a trophy at club level.
