About the player
Jefferson Nazareno's number 4 shirt has been one constant across his moves: he wore it at Delfín SC and wears it again now at Manta. At Delfín, he featured in the 2024 Copa Sudamericana, making two appearances, including one against Barcelona SC.
Nazareno came through the youth ranks at CD Gloria, joining the academy in 2017 and progressing through the under-20 side before his promotion to the first team in January 2018. He stayed with Gloria until March 2022, when he moved to CD Juventud Italiana for a single season.
2025 turned into a season of frequent moves: he started the year at Técnico Universitario before switching to Aviced Fútbol Club in the second half of the campaign. Neither move is recorded with a transfer fee, and all his switches to date appear to have been completed as free transfers.
