About the player
Jeppe Tverskov wears the captain's armband at San Diego FC.
He came through the academy at B 1903 in Copenhagen, playing for the first team in the Danish fourth division before Lyngby Boldklub brought him into their first-team squad in June 2012. He was handed a debut for Lyngby that November. Randers FC signed him in 2014 on a two-year deal.
Odense Boldklub took him on in the summer of 2016, and he stayed for seven seasons, becoming a key player and eventually captain. He moved to FC Nordsjælland in June 2023.
San Diego FC announced his signing from Nordsjælland in March 2024. The contract, running through the end of 2026, was activated on 1 January 2025 for the club's first MLS season. In 2026 it was extended to 2027, with an option for a further year.
Tverskov was named to the MLS All-Star Game in 2025 and set a league record that season for touches of the ball, with 2,839. He has not been capped for Denmark's senior team but represented the country at various youth levels, from under-18 to under-21.
