About the player
When Jagiellonia signed Jesús Imaz from Wisła Kraków in January 2019, the fee was around 100,000 euros for a forward who had spent most of his career in Spain's lower divisions.
He has made 222 Ekstraklasa appearances for Jagiellonia and scored 96 league goals, adding 17 Polish Cup appearances and three goals, plus 31 European matches and 13 goals. He reached his 100th Ekstraklasa goal for the club in August 2025, and in April 2026 he passed Flávio Paixão to become the competition's all-time top-scoring foreigner.
His European nights produced the moments fans remember most: a hat-trick against Panevėžys in Champions League qualifying in 2024, and a goal against Fiorentina in the Conference League. With Jagiellonia he won the Ekstraklasa title in 2023/24 and the Polish Super Cup in 2024. He was named the league's best foreign player in 2024 and has collected several player-of-the-month awards along the way, most recently in September 2025.
Imaz has never played for Spain's national team.
