About the player
Joshua Mancha came through the Santos Laguna academy, joining the club's youth ranks in 2017. The breakthrough came on 8 January 2023, when he made his first-team debut against UANL.
Later that year Mancha left Mexico for Spain, joining Sporting Atlético, the reserve team of Sporting de Gijón, as a free agent. He spent three seasons in Spanish football with the Tercera Federación side before returning to Santos Laguna in June 2026. According to the newspaper La Voz de Asturias, he was in the process of obtaining Spanish citizenship around the turn of the year.
At international level, Mancha represented Mexico at under-20 level in 2021 and 2022. He was part of the squad that won the 2021 Revelations Cup, and returned to the tournament in 2022, playing three matches.
