About the player
Jovan Lukić's move to Philadelphia Union in February 2025 followed a career built almost entirely on Serbian club football. He scored on his MLS debut against New England Revolution on 8 March 2025, a goal later shortlisted for the league's BIMBO Goal of the Month award. By the end of the season he had made 32 appearances, scoring twice and setting up four further goals.
Lukić came through the Partizan academy before joining Čukarički in 2017, where he progressed through the youth ranks and made his first-team debut in 2020. He went on to make 64 appearances for the club, scoring twice, before a move abroad.
Lukić has represented Serbia at various youth levels, turning out for the under-17, under-18, under-20 and under-21 sides, though he has not yet been called into the senior national team.
