Kevin Stiben Viveros Rodallega's road to Brazil went through loan spells scattered across three countries. The winger came through at America Cali, where he made his senior debut in 2018 and stayed on the books for three years, though first-team chances there were limited to 16 appearances. The club sent him out repeatedly to gain experience: first to Atletico Cali, then to Itagui Leones.

A move to Europe followed in 2023, when Sarajevo signed him in Bosnia. It did not work out on the pitch — Viveros never played an official match for the club. Colombia pulled him back almost immediately, with Deportivo Cali taking him on loan for the rest of that year.

The turning point in his numbers came at La Equidad in 2024, where he scored eight goals in 21 matches, his most productive scoring rate anywhere in his career so far. That form led Atletico Nacional to take him on loan for the 2024–2025 season, where he played 32 matches and added four more goals, giving him regular first-team football at one of Colombia's leading clubs for the first time.

Athletico Paranaense signed him in 2025 for a fee of €4.2 million, bringing him to Brazilian football on a permanent deal rather than another loan. Viveros has not been capped by Colombia's senior national team, though he has said he wants to force his way into the squad for the 2026 World Cup.
