About the player
Kaare Barslund grew up playing for Helsinge Fodbold before moving into the FC Nordsjælland academy at the age of eleven. A Danish Cup debut against BK Frem, followed by his first appearance in the Danish Superliga against FC Midtjylland, both games arrived within his first year as a professional.
Sources differ on exactly where Barslund fits on the pitch. Transfermarkt lists him as a right-back, while other outlets have used him as a defensive midfielder, and he has also featured centrally in defence and midfield.
In 2024 he left Denmark for Sweden, joining IF Brommapojkarna in the Allsvenskan. By the summer of 2026 he had made 48 appearances for the club, scoring three goals, and now wears the number 27 shirt.
