Kaïs Barry

Kaïs Barry spent seven years in Lokeren's academy before Anderlecht signed him at the age of 12 in 2018. He worked through the club's youth ranks and signed his first professional contract in May 2022, then spent three seasons with RSCA Futures, Anderlecht's reserve side in the Challenger Pro League. He made his debut for that team in August 2023 against Beerschot, coming on as a substitute.

Barry made 48 appearances for Futures over the course of that spell, scoring twice. His most recent reserve season was his busiest: 19 matches and 1,271 minutes on the pitch, with two assists alongside four yellow cards and a red. That workload was enough to earn him a place in Anderlecht's first-team squad for the new season.

The step up has so far meant involvement without minutes. Barry has been named in the squad for Europa League qualifying fixtures and Belgian top-flight matches, but has not yet been brought off the bench in a competitive first-team game. He signed a contract running to June 2027 as part of the move to the senior squad.

Barry has represented Belgium at every youth level from under-16 through under-19, collecting caps at each age group, though he has not been called into the senior national side.
