About the player
Kiani Inge plays right-back for Jong AZ, the reserve side he joined in the summer of 2025 after almost seven years inside AZ Alkmaar's academy. He signed his first professional contract with the club that May, tying him to Alkmaar through the 2026/27 season.
His path there was not straight. Inge started out at the amateur club AVV Zeeburgia before Feyenoord's academy picked him up in 2015. That stint lasted two years; travel proved impractical, and he returned to Zeeburgia for the 2017/18 season. AZ took him on in the summer of 2018, and he worked his way up through every age group at the Alkmaar academy, from the under-13s onward.
In the 2024/25 season he featured for AZ's under-19 side in the UEFA Youth League before the step up to Jong AZ's Eerste Divisie squad.
