He arrived in July 2023 on a free transfer, signed a two-year deal.
The left foot shapes everything. Scepanik is used at left-back and in left midfield, and has also been asked to fill in as a right wing-back.
He is a product of 1. FC Köln , born in the city and in the club's youth system until 2013. That period brought the German Under-17 Bundesliga title and the German Under-19 Cup, and later the Regionalliga West and the Middle Rhine Cup. He stayed on with the second team for three seasons, 64 matches and two goals, before the move that took him out of Cologne.
What followed was a run through the German lower divisions, each step a free transfer. Two years at Stuttgarter Kickers yielded five goals in 54 games. A single season at Rot-Weiss Essen brought four in 31. Then MSV Duisburg , where he scored five times in 48 appearances across two seasons.
Eighteen appearances at Türkgücü München in 2021–22, then a season at 1. FC Kaan-Marienborn with three goals in 25 matches.
Scepanik has never been capped by Germany at senior or youth level, and holds no individual honours.
