About the player
The number on Luis Fellipe's back has changed more than once since he arrived at Goiás, but the position hasn't: central defender, right foot. He came up through Rio Grande do Sul football at Caxias before a string of moves through Duque de Caxias, Cascavel and Paraná took him to Santos in 2016.
At Santos he became a fixture at the back, making 171 appearances across seven years and winning the Campeonato Paulista in 2016.
In 2023 he moved to Atlético Goianiense on loan. Over 35 matches he scored twice and helped the club to the 2024 Campeonato Goiano title, a run that local reporting singled out as central to Atlético Goianiense's push back into Brazil's top flight.
