Coming off the bench against Вила Нова in 2026, Luiz Cláudio marked his first appearance for the Náutico senior side with a goal.
Born in Brazil on 14 May 2005, the forward — full name Luiz Cláudio Bezerra Alves — started out in the academy at Grêmio Prudente. What followed was a run of moves through youth systems and lower-division sides: Santacruzense, Atlântico-BA, Sergipe and Frei Paulistano.
It was at Frei Paulistano, where he was pulled into the Sub-20 side, that scouts from Recife took notice. Náutico signed him in 2025, initially registering him with the youth squad. He did not stay there long. The club spent that season in Série B of the Brazilian championship, and Cláudio worked his way towards the first-team group from below.
He stands 1.80 m. Weight and preferred foot are not listed in the public records, and no titles or individual awards appear against his name so far.
Now with the Pernambuco club, Luiz Cláudio is pushing for a regular place in the senior squad after that debut goal — the kind of introduction that gets a young forward looked at again the following week.
