About the player
Lukas Björklund started his career at Ystads IF before moving to Malmö FF's academy in 2018, spending two seasons there. He then moved to Danish club Sønderjyske in September 2022.
In August 2025, Björklund returned to Sweden, joining IF Brommapojkarna, where he now wears the number 30 shirt. The transfer fee has been reported at figures ranging up to roughly 5.5 million Swedish kronor, depending on the source.
At youth international level, Björklund has represented Sweden across several age groups. He featured six times for the under-17s without scoring, then stepped up to the under-19s, where he scored once in 14 appearances. His most recent involvement came with the under-21s in November 2024, when he made his debut and scored against Ireland.
Born in Ystad, Björklund's path has taken him from a home-country academy through Danish football before bringing him back to play domestically with Brommapojkarna.
