About the player
Mario Bratu spent six seasons working through the ranks at Petrolul Ploiești, the club he joined as a teenager in 2019 and stayed with as it moved between Liga 2 and the top flight. By the time he left, the left-footed attacking midfielder had made 106 appearances and scored 11 goals for the Ploiești side.
Domestically, one fixture from that period stands out on the record: a 5-2 defeat to CFR 1907 Cluj in Liga I in February 2023.
Bratu became a free agent in the summer of 2025 and signed for Corvinul Hunedoara .
