About the player
Merabi Uridia had trials at the academies of Spartak and Lokomotiv before settling at Rubin, where he broke through with the club's 1993-born youth side and won the Russian youth championship.
His second spell at Neftekhimik, from 2017 to 2023, produced 57 goals in 166 matches and included the 2018/19 season, when the club won the Professional Football League's Ural-Volga group. He also finished as top scorer at an all-Russian university tournament in Sochi in 2016.
Before that, his development had taken him briefly to Georgia, where he played for Shukura, and to Volga.
In June 2025 he moved to Fakel Voronezh, again as a free agent, on a long-term contract.
