About the player
Nazarii Rusyn came through Dynamo Kyiv's academy. He won back-to-back Ukrainian under-19 championships with the club in 2015/16 and 2016/17.
Once promoted, Rusyn built a modest medal collection at Dynamo: the Ukrainian Super Cup in 2018 and 2019, and the Ukrainian Cup in 2019/20.
He left Dynamo Kyiv for Lviv in 2020. His performances there did not go unnoticed by the national set-up: having already progressed through Ukraine's youth ranks — including seven goals in eleven appearances at under-21 level — he received call-ups to the senior side in June and October 2023 for Euro 2024 qualifying fixtures, though he was not brought on in either camp.
In September 2025, Rusyn moved to Poland on loan, joining Arka Gdynia, where he now plies his trade. The loan runs to the end of June 2026, giving him a season to make his mark in the Polish top flight before his future is decided.
