About the player
He put pen to paper on his deal on 30 September 2024, aged 15, and by May 2026 the club had already extended it to 2028.
Kalonji's path to Anderlecht ran through Standard Liège, where he started out before joining the academy that would shape him. He worked his way up through the club's youth ranks, including spells with RSCA Futures and the under-19s, before his senior debut arrived on 23 July 2026, coming off the bench in a Europa League qualifier.
It is with Belgium's under-17s that Kalonji has left his clearest mark so far. He started that final against Italy among four Anderlecht players in the line-up, though the match was lost on penalties . Across the tournament he played all five matches, finishing with eight caps and one goal for the age group overall.
