Noel Eichinger

Noel Eichinger's path to professional football ran through the regional leagues rather than a big academy. After coming through the youth ranks at TSG 1846 Bretzenheim and SV Wehen Wiesbaden, he began his senior career at Wormatia Worms, where he scored 17 goals in 32 appearances — numbers that carried him to FSV Zwickau in the 3. Liga. That spell ended in relegation, with Eichinger contributing two goals in 28 league matches before he moved on a free transfer to Jahn Regensburg in 2023.

Regensburg became the club where his development continued, though not always in a straight line. He was loaned out twice during his time there: first to Greifswalder FC in January 2024, where he made ten appearances without scoring, and then for a longer stretch to 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig between August 2024 and June 2025, where he found his scoring touch again with eight league goals in 24 matches. By the time he left Regensburg in the summer of 2026, he had made 39 appearances for the club and scored 10 goals.

That summer brought his move to Karlsruher SC, again as a free agent, continuing a career built on incremental steps rather than a single breakthrough move. Eichinger has not been capped by Germany at any level.
