Oliver Antman

Rangers signed Oliver Antman on 4 August 2025, and he had already made a mark in Finland before he arrived at Ibrox. A product of IF Gnistan in Vantaa, he made his first-team breakthrough there in 2018 before FC Nordsjaelland brought him to Denmark the same year for a fee in the region of €50,000. He spent six years at the Danish club, with a loan spell at FC Groningen in the Netherlands in 2023 along the way, before Go Ahead Eagles took him to the Eredivisie in August 2024 for a fee reported at around €1.2 million.

His stock rose further in 2025, when he was named Finnish Player of the Year at the Captain's Ball ceremony. That form convinced Rangers to move for him, paying a fee understood to be between £3 million and £4.5 million. He wore the number 18 shirt and settled into a wide role, and his one goal for the club, against Kilmarnock on 4 February 2026, came alongside five assists across 28 appearances in all competitions.

The campaign was not without setbacks. In December 2025 he suffered an adductor injury that kept him out for a minimum of eight weeks, and he was still working his way back from a separate leg problem in January 2026. Feyenoord and Club Brugge were both credited with interest during a spell when his form dipped.

Antman's time in Glasgow proved short. He left for RSC Anderlecht on 29 July 2026, in a deal worth between €4.5 million and €5 million, signing a contract that runs to 2030. For Finland, he has been a regular presence, with 31 caps and eight goals recorded by June 2026, including appearances through both World Cup and Nations League qualifying.
