About the player
Oscar Krusnell came through the Enskede IK academy in Stockholm before moving into AIK's youth setup. He returned to Sweden in August 2017 to join Hammarby, though breaking into first-team football took time: loan spells at IK Frej Täby and Team ThorenGruppen FF followed in 2019 and 2020.
Krusnell's development at international level came earlier and more visibly. He made 23 appearances for Sweden's under-17 side, scoring once, and added seven caps at under-19 level. That run was interrupted in 2016, when a foot injury forced him out of the European Under-17 Championship.
His career took him abroad again in February 2023, when he signed for FK Haugesund in Norway. He returned to Swedish football in July 2025 with IK Sirius, where he now wears the number 22 shirt on a contract running to the end of 2028.
