Patrick Sussek

Patrick Sussek spent a decade in Ingolstadt's youth system before working his way into the senior side, but it was only after leaving that he found his scoring touch. Loan-style spells lower down the pyramid at Fortuna Düsseldorf II, Berliner AK 07 and BFC Dynamo gave him regular minutes, and at Berliner AK he doubled his output, reaching ten goals in a single season for the first time.

That form travelled with him to MSV Duisburg. In the 2024/25 Regionalliga West campaign he was a central figure, scoring 14 goals in 32 league matches and adding seven assists as Duisburg secured promotion to the 3. Liga. The same season brought the Niederrheinpokal.

The step up in division has not dented his output. In his first full 3. Liga campaign, 2025/26, Sussek made 24 appearances with seven goals and six assists. He has continued in the same vein into the 2026/27 season, with two goals and an assist from his opening appearances.

Sussek's disciplinary record in the 3. Liga has stayed clean by the standards of a regular starter, with six yellow cards and no red cards to date. Internationally, he was capped three times by Germany's under-18s in 2017 and a further three times by the under-19s the following year, scoring once at that level.
