About the player
Peter Nysted Therkildsen came through the youth ranks at Solrød before moving on to HB Køge, with 32 appearances there. AC Horsens followed, scoring five times in 30 matches.
A loan to Norway's FK Haugesund in 2020 turned into a permanent deal. He made 96 appearances and scored nine goals, and in October 2023 he was named Eliteserien's player of the month. That form carried him to Djurgårdens IF in Sweden in 2024, where he reached the Swedish Cup final with the club before a return to Denmark this July, joining Odense as their new number two.
Therkildsen has yet to add an international cap to his record.
