About the player
Quinn Sullivan's introduction to first-team football came early. He made his debut for Philadelphia Union II at 16, and within months had signed with the parent club as a homegrown player. The step up to MLS followed quickly: on his league debut against Chicago Fire in June 2021, he scored.
Sullivan's path to that point ran through Philadelphia's local club scene rather than a conventional academy pipeline from the start. He played for Fishtown A.C., Lighthouse Soccer Club and Philadelphia Soccer Club as a boy, alongside a friend, Brendan Craig, before joining the Union academy in 2016 and combining training with schooling at YSC Academy.
Since establishing himself with the first team, Sullivan has built a substantial run of appearances in MLS, adding goal contributions in the CONCACAF Champions Cup and League as well. The club rewarded that progress with a contract extension through 2027, with an option for a further year, agreed under MLS's U22 initiative.
His form also opened the door to international recognition. Sullivan won the CONCACAF U-20 championship with the United States in 2022 and played at that year's age-group World Cup in Indonesia. The senior call-up came later, with his debut arriving in a defeat to Turkey in June 2025.
At club level, Sullivan reached the MLS Cup final with Philadelphia Union in 2022 and won the Supporters' Shield with the club in 2025. He was also twice recognised with MLS's Goal of the Week award during his breakthrough season. With the senior United States team, he reached the final of the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
