About the player
Ramik Gadzhiev arrived in Ukrainian football through a route that took in three academies before he settled anywhere. He passed through the youth ranks at Metalist 1925, then Munkács, then Rukh Lviv.
That came at Dnipro-1, which he joined in September 2022. He made nine appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League for the club and scored once.
The move did not lead to a settled spell. Dnipro-1 was disbanded, and in October 2024 Gadzhiev found himself a free agent. He returned to Metalist 1925, the club where his academy career had begun, signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2029.
Gadzhiev has also featured for Ukraine's under-21 side, making nine appearances and scoring one goal at that level.
Born in Baku, he plays as a left-footed midfielder.
