Saimon José Ramírez Marín

Saimon Ramírez has spent his career so far in Maracaibo football without ever pulling on a shirt for the national team, though it remains the target he named in an interview with Liga FUTVE in February 2025. He started out at Zulia in February 2020 as a free agent, making a single appearance that year before his role expanded: 20 matches and two goals in 2021, then 29 appearances and a goal in 2022.

He moved on again without a transfer fee, joining Rayo Zuliano on 1 January 2023. There he became a regular in the side rather than a fringe option, playing 27 matches with three goals and three assists in his first year at the club. The following season brought 19 league appearances, three goals, two assists, and his first taste of continental football with seven matches in the Copa Sudamericana. In 2025 he added 26 more appearances and three goals to that record.

On 12 January 2026, Ramírez left Rayo Zuliano for Metropolitanos FC, again as a free agent, signing a contract running to the end of 2027. He has settled quickly into the new side, appearing 24 times with a goal and an assist so far in 2026, plus one outing in the Copa Sudamericana.

Across every move of his career, no transfer fee has changed hands — each switch has come as a free agent. His stated ambition remains a first call-up to Venezuela's senior side.
