About the player
Santino Vera made his first-team breakthrough with Racing Club, coming off the bench in a 4-0 win over Colón to mark his senior debut. He went on to add only a handful of appearances across the league, the Copa de la Liga and the Copa Argentina.
He was named in Racing's squad for the 2024 Copa Sudamericana without playing a minute, and the club lifted the trophy that year.
In December 2025, Vera agreed a pre-contract with Unión Santa Fe. The move was completed as a free agent on 1 January 2026, tying him to the club for three seasons. He spent the opening months of 2026 with Unión's reserve side in the Copa LPF Proyección before being promoted to the first-team squad in July, going on to make his debut appearance in the Liga Profesional.
Vera has also been involved at youth international level, called up to Argentina's Under-20 squad by Javier Mascherano in March 2024, though he is yet to feature in an official match for the age group.
