About the player
On 15 January 2020 he signed for Club América and made his competitive debut for the side the following month.
Cáceres has been part of an América side that won three successive Liga MX titles — the Apertura 2023, the Clausura 2024 and the Apertura 2024. He also picked up the Campeón de Campeones and the Campeones Cup in 2024, as well as the Supercopa de México across the 2023/2024 season.
Cáceres has also represented Uruguay at international level and was part of the squad that finished third at the 2024 Copa América.
