About the player
Sebastián Pérez Bouquet Pérez came through Chivas's academy in Guadalajara, winning Mexican youth championships with the club at under-13, under-15 and under-17 level. He made his senior debut for Chivas on 9 January 2022 against Mazatlán and went on to play 15 matches for the club, scoring once.
At Tapatío, Chivas's reserve side, he made 28 appearances and scored seven goals across 2022 and 2023, helping the team win the Liga de Expansión MX Clausura title and the Campeón de Campeones.
Chivas sold him outright at the end of December 2024, with Atlético San Luis paying two million dollars for his services.
On the international stage, Pérez Bouquet has represented Mexico at youth level, called up to the under-18s as a teenager and later to the under-20 side. In 2023 he scored for the under-20s against Independiente de Avellaneda, in a match that finished 1-1.
