About the player
Tomás Costa Silva came through Sporting's academy, working his way from the B team into the first-team squad and earning a Primeira Liga appearance before moving on.
At Vizela he became a regular over three seasons, a run interrupted by a loan spell at Varzim in 2022. The move that changed his career came in 2024, when he joined Jagiellonia in Poland. There he won the Polish Super Cup and played in European competition, featuring in both the UEFA Europa Conference League and the UEFA Champions League.
He left Jagiellonia after little more than a year and signed for Dobrudzha in Bulgaria, taking the number 10 shirt. 28 league appearances, four goals and four assists in the efbet Liga, plus one Bulgarian Cup outing. That scoring return outstripped anything he had managed at Vizela, where he found the net just once in 57 games.
Silva has also represented Portugal at Under-20 level, with a single cap to his name. In the summer of 2026 he moved on again, joining Spartak Varna and switching to the number 82 shirt — his third club in three years.
