Tomás Fagioli

Tomás Fagioli's biggest moment for Unión Santa Fe so far came from twelve yards, and not with the first team. In the final of the Copa Santa Fe, he stepped up to take the fifth penalty in a shootout against Centenario and scored it, sealing the title for the club's youth side.

Fagioli grew up in San Justo and came through the ranks at the local club, Colón de San Justo, playing every age group before moving into the first team, where he featured in the Liga Santafesiana and the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. In the 2023/24 season he won both the Liga Santafesiana and the Regional Litoral-Sur tournament with Colón.

He joined Unión Santa Fe in 2024, initially with the club's reserve side in the Copa de Proyección. The move led to his first professional contract, signed to run until December 2027, with Unión keeping a 20% sell-on stake in the player.

His first-team debut in the Liga Profesional came in 2026, and by August he had made two appearances without scoring. One of those came on 25 July, away to Platense, when he started the match and put through his own net in the 23rd minute to give the home side an early lead; he was also booked before the final whistle. Unión recovered to draw the game 2-2.
