About the player
The loans followed one another: UD Almería for 2019–20, then Royal Charleroi for 2021–22. He went back to Charleroi and played for the reserve side, Zébra Élites, before leaving the club in 2024.
He was without a club until January 2025, when Septemvri Sofia signed him as a free agent on a two-and-a-half-year deal and gave him the number 26. By 26 May 2026 he had 28 league appearances and two goals for the Bulgarian side.
With Nigeria he played seven times at U-20 level, including the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, and also represented the U-23s. His senior debut came on 4 June 2021, a friendly against Cameroon that Nigeria lost 1–0. He has two caps for the Super Eagles.
