About the player
He was 16 when Santos put him on the pitch, and by the end of that first year in the squad he had a Recopa Sudamericana winner's medal. Instead, Victor Andrade has spent the years since collecting passport stamps and short contracts, and in March 2026 he signed for Nautico Recife, where he wears the number 11.
The move to Europe came in 2014, when Benfica took him from Santos. Most of his football there was with the B side. He was on the books for the 2015/16 title-winning season and played three league matches in it. Loans followed — Vitoria Guimaraes in 2016, then Munich 1860 in Germany for 2016/17 — before he settled at Estoril Praia, where he stayed two years.
Brazil brought him back in 2019 for a brief run at Chapecoense, then Goias in 2020. In 2021 he tried South Korea with Suwon FC, returned home the same year for Remo and then Vila Nova, and joined Juventude for 2022 and 2023. Portuguesa at the start of it, Ferroviaria from April to November, and Botafogo-SP from August into 2025. Sao Bernardo was the last stop before Recife.
The winger arrives at Nautico on a deal that runs to 30 November 2026. The fee was not disclosed.
