About the player
Víctor Céspedes came through General Díaz before a spell abroad, spending a season with Lokomotiva Zagreb's under-19 side in Croatia. He returned to Paraguay to join Club Guaraní, where he settled into the role of right winger.
The clearest mark he has left at the club came in the Paraguayan Cup. In August 2023, Guaraní thrashed Valois Rivarola 14-0, and Céspedes was among the scorers on the night — a result and a goal that stand out on an otherwise modest run of appearances.
In 2026 he moved out on loan to Sportivo San Lorenzo, a switch that took him back to football in the city where he was born. He has not yet been called up to the Paraguay national team.
