About the player
At Sirius, Viktor Ekström wears the number 20 shirt as a right-back, a path that started in the academy at Brommapojkarna. He moved into senior football with Täby FK in 2023, a step that took him from academy football into first-team competition.
His development caught the attention of the Swedish federation early: in 2019 he was called up to Sweden's youth set-up, the Future Team programme, one of the clearer markers of promise in his younger years.
The 2025 season took him away from Sirius on loan, first to Norwegian side Mjøndalen and later to Gefle in Sweden, spells that gave him regular football outside his parent club before his return to the Allsvenskan.
