About the player
In the 74th minute of a match against León on 3 September 2023, he turned the ball into his own net; the game finished 1-1. Necaxa's coach at the time, Alberto Padilla, spoke up for him afterwards, calling the goal an accident.
The following month he was called up to train with the Mexico national team ahead of Concacaf Nations League fixtures, though he has not won a senior cap.
In December 2024 Necaxa sent him on loan to Venados for the Clausura 2025 campaign in the Liga de Expansión. He made 16 appearances there in 2024/25, scoring once and setting up three goals, then stayed on for 2025/26, adding two goals and three assists in 12 matches before returning to Necaxa in December 2025.
On 7 January 2026 he moved on loan to Querétaro, where he wears number 29 and is contracted until the end of the year. He has made four Liga MX appearances for his new club so far this season, plus three in the Leagues Cup, without a goal or an assist to show for them.
