About the player
Yarek Gasiorowski Hernandis joined Valencia's academy in 2012 after taking part in trials, and spent a decade working through the club's youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in August 2022. He made his first-team debut on 7 October 2023, coming off the bench against Mallorca in La Liga. Over the following two seasons he made 29 league appearances for Valencia without scoring, along with six in the Copa del Rey.
His form drew attention beyond Spain. Real Madrid and Arsenal were reported to be monitoring him in January 2025. PSV Eindhoven signed him on 10 July 2025 for a fee reported between €9.5 million and €9.8 million.
Internationally, Gasiorowski holds both Spanish and Polish nationality through his father, but chose to represent Spain, saying he did not speak Polish.
