About the player
Yilson Rosales began his career in the youth ranks at Águilas Doradas, before a spell abroad with Correcaminos de la UAT's reserve side in Mexico. The move gave the young defender an early taste of football outside Colombia before he returned home to build his career.
His first sustained run of first-team football came at Deportivo Pasto, where he spent two seasons and made 52 appearances, scoring once. That volume of minutes marked him out as a regular starter rather than a fringe option, and it paved the way for a step up in January 2024, when he signed for Deportes Tolima. He made 17 appearances there and again found the net once, though he moved on within a year.
In January 2025 Rosales joined Alianza, where he continues to play. Across his career the pattern has been consistent: a defender who has moved between clubs every year or two, gradually climbing from academy and reserve football into recognised first divisions in Colombia.
