Belfius Mons-Hainaut

Mons finished second in the Belgian league in 2005–06 and won the Belgian Cup in the same season. The pairing came round again in 2010–11: runners-up in the league, Cup winners once more, and the Belgian Supercup followed in 2011.

The club's longest run in Europe fell between those two Cups. In 2007–08 it reached the EuroChallenge final, and that spring it also reached the Belgian Cup final. The next season it made the last 16 of the Eurocup, and it did so again in 2010–11.

Founded in 1959 as Quaregnon, the club has since carried its sponsors' names: Telindus Union Mons-Hainaut from 1998, Dexia Mons-Hainaut from 2001 and Belfius since 2012. Supporters call the team Les Renards, the Foxes, and play in white, blue and lime green.

The league kept producing the same result. Mons were second in 2014–15, when they also reached the last 16 of the EuroChallenge. Then came two more silver medals in a row, in 2019–20 and 2020–21. In the second of those seasons the club got as far as the quarter-finals of the FIBA Europe Cup. Today it plays in the BNXT League.

Across all those finals the Belgian league title has never been won.
