Bohs' rivalries are still being written: their sharpest recent test came in a cup final, not a league fixture — a 3-2 defeat to Athlone Town in the 2025 FAI Women's Cup decider, and a penalty shoot-out loss to Wexford FC in the All-Island Cup the same year. Both defeats came at the end of runs to the final, not at the first hurdle.

The club started in 2009 as an amateur side in the Dublin Women's Soccer League, and won that league in its first season. A second wave of titles followed in 2010, the DWSL Intermediate Division 1 and the DWSL Intermediate Cup. None of that silverware travelled with the team into senior football: since joining the Women's National League in 2020, Bohs have reached finals but not yet lifted a national trophy.

Home games are played at Dalymount Park, shared with the men's side and, since 2022, the venue for every top-flight fixture the women's team plays — before that, home matches were staged at the Oscar Traynor Centre. Bohs wear red and black, the same colours as the men's team carries through the city.

Those cup defeats to Athlone Town and Wexford FC remain the closest thing the team has to a rivalry so far, born less of geography than of standing between Bohs and a first national trophy.
