«The Salesians»
What sets Don Bosco apart in Congolese football is who owns it. The club belongs to the son of Moïse Katumbi and functions as a feeder side for TP Mazembe, the giant of the same city, which means its best players are groomed with one eye on a bigger shirt across town. It plays in blue and white, and its home ground carries the Mazembe name as well, a detail that says plainly which club is the parent and which the nursery.
The trophy room is thin but not empty. Don Bosco won the Coupe du Congo in 2012, adding the LIFKAT the same year, and returned to a cup final in 2016 only to finish runners-up. The 2012 double was enough to send the club into continental football, and it took its place in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2013, 2014 and 2016 — modest by regional standards, but proof that a feeder club can still make its own mark before its talent moves on.
