Ezemvelo Women

Isipingo had no women's side of note before 2023, when Ezemvelo first took to the pitch under a name that means "nature" in Zulu. The club still has no ground of its own — matches have been played at the Westville Prison Ground in Durban, at Kopano Astroturf in Cape Town, at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, and, for a fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns, as far away as Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria.

What travelled with them was form. In 2024 Ezemvelo went through the Sasol League to reach the national final in Knysna, where they beat the University of Cape Town 2–0, with Nonhlanzeko Gwala and Banele Madondo scoring the goals. The result carried the club straight into the Hollywoodbets Super League for the 2025 season.

Ezemvelo's first appearance in the top flight brought a different kind of milestone: their maiden goal in the Super League was scored by Siphesihle Mvila, 16 years old on her debut for the club that had not existed three years earlier.
