Ironi Tiberias

That identity sits on top of a history assembled twice: what takes the pitch today in navy and white traces back to Beitar Tiberias, formed in 1950, and again to 2001, when that side merged with Hapoel Mo'atza Ezorit Galil Tahton and carried on under a joint name.

The club as it is registered now dates from 2006, when the merged side was reorganised and renamed Ironi Tiberias. Ownership changed again in 2021, when the Dorot group of companies took charge and added its name to the city's. Home matches are not played in Tiberias itself but a short drive away, at Barel Stadium in Nof HaGalil, which holds 5,200. No title from Israel's top flight has ever gone to Tiberias, and the club's best moments have come in more modest form: ninth place in Ligat ha'Al in 2024/25, and a runner-up spot in Liga Leumit the season before, enough for a place in the promotion play-offs but not for the step up itself. Holding that ninth-place standard and pushing past it is the task now in front of the Tiberians.
