Kahta 02 Spor

In the third round of the Ziraat Türkiye Kupası, a club from the Bölgesel Amatör Lig went ahead of Kasımpaşa and finished the job 3-1, with goals from Yusuf Fırat, Ahmet Tuna Akıl and Berkay Ceylan.

The club carries 1944 in its history, and by late 2024 had marked eighty years since its founding. Under the presidency of Musa Yıldırım, around 2019, Kahta Spor became Kahta 02 Spor, and İsmail Mulhan later took over the running of the club. On the pitch the record has been just as unsettled. Relegation from the TFF 3. Lig came at the end of the 2021-2022 season, after a 15th-place finish in the first group, and in 2024-2025 a fourth-place finish in Group 3 of the Bölgesel Amatör Lig was only secured by winning a play-out match against 1958 Gölbaşıspor 4-1.

Kahta's matches against Adıyamanspor and 1958 Gölbaşıspor are the fixtures the town turns out for, backed by a fan group known as Tejğele. Home games are played in blue, in front of 1,500 seats at most.

Yusuf Fırat is the name attached to the club's biggest night.
