Manly Utd U20

The under-20s took the PS4 NPL NSW premiership in 2016, two years after winning the Men's 1 Grade 20s title in 2014. Manly United's youth team had already reached the NSW Premier League Under 20s grand final in 2012, so the platform was there before the trophies were.

The club the youth side feeds sits on Sydney's northern beaches and dates only from 2004, though the football behind it is older: the Manly Warringah Dolphins carried the district from 1992, and before that came a merger of Manly-North Shore United and Warringah Freshwater. The Dolphins won the premiership in 1995; the grand final of 2016 and the double in 2017 belong to the senior side under the current name.

Callum Elder and Gianni Stensness followed him into the national team; Emily van Egmond and Ally Green went through to the Matildas. For a club of this size, that pathway is the record that matters more than the league table.

The fixtures that draw a crowd are against Northern Tigers and Avalon Bay, played as the Northern Beaches Derby.
